Ann (Davis) Seymour

Ann Davis Seymour, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and respected paralegal, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia. Born on July 22, 1944, in McCormick, South Carolina, Ann's life was a testament to her unwavering strength, love for her family, and dedication to her profession. Ann grew up in the warm embrace of McCormick, where she was nurtured by her loving parents, Thomas and Thelma Nabors Davis. She shared her childhood with her siblings, Marion, Grover, and Elizabeth, creating memories that she would fondly recount throughout her life. Although predeceased by her parents, brothers, sister, beloved son Jay Seymour, and great-granddaughter Vivianne Parton, Ann's legacy of love and resilience continues to live on. Ann's professional journey as a paralegal spanned over four decades, during which she became an indispensable asset to many attorneys in Greenwood and McCormick Counties. Her sharp intellect, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering work ethic earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and the legal community at large. Outside the office, Ann was an avid South Carolina Gamecocks fan, her enthusiasm for her team as infectious as her vibrant spirit. Her love for cooking was another of her many passions, and she took great joy in collecting and reading cookbooks, always eager to discover new recipes and share them with those she loved. Ann's greatest pride, however, was her family. She is survived by her devoted son, Roby Seymour (Amy), and her adoring grandchildren, Kerri Parton (Preston) and Drew Seymour (Taylor). Her great-grandsons, Ethan Parton and John Dukes "Juke" Seymour, were the lights of her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Ann's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, dedication, and the countless lives she touched. Her warmth, wisdom, and the stories she shared will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Ann Davis Seymour's memory will forever be a beacon of love and joy for her family and friends, and her spirit will continue to guide them in the years to come.
