Thomson, GA- Mrs. Ann Alexander Phillips, 94, entered into rest March 13, 2014 at Thomson Health and Rehabilitation. She was the widow of the late William Phillips.
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Westview Cemetery, Thomson with Rev. John Barnes officiating.
Mrs. Phillips was a native of Pickens County, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Robert Alexander and the late Betty Gant Alexander. She taught school at Liberty Elementary and retired after 35 years of service. Mrs. Phillips was a loving mother and enjoyed gardening and working with arts and crafts. She was a member of Norris Baptist Church in Norris, South Carolina.
Survivors include her son, Tim Phillips and wife, Sally and grandchildren, Will Phillips and Sarah Ann Phillips all of Thomson, Georgia.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
