Ann Rivers Lane

Evans, GA – Mrs. Ann Rivers Lane, 71, entered into rest December 14, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Lane was born in Augusta, GA to the late John F. Rivers and the late Sue Rhodes Rivers. She lived in Thomson for many years and attended Thomson First United Methodist Church. She was a faithful and devoted homemaker and enjoyed gardening and loved animals. Mrs. Lane worked with special needs at Serenity for several years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lane was predeceased by her husband, John T. Lane.

Survivors include her son, Chris Lane; and daughter, Karen Lane both of Evans, GA; brother, Ken Rivers of Martinez, GA; grandchildren, Ansley Cheatham, Jacie Lane and John T. Lane and son-in-law, Chip Cheatham.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2018 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ronny Brannen officiating.
