Thomson, GA-Mrs. Barbara Ann Gay, 74, entered into rest April 15, 2016.

Mrs. Gay was born in Clearwater, SC and was the daughter of the late Bill Snellings and the late Mary Reese Snellings. She lived in Columbia County for many years before moving to Thomson in 2007. Mrs. Gay was a retired beautician and a member of Silver Run Baptist Church.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Herman Gay; daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Edmunds, Tammie McClure (Ray) all of Thomson; brother, Billy Snellings (Hazel) of Leah, GA; sister, Joyce Williams of Augusta, GA and 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Sunday, April 17, 2016 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. John McMillan officiating. Interment will follow in the Snellings Memorial Cemetery, William Few Parkway, Grovetown, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
