Mrs. Bell, daughter of the late Edward T. and Dixie Wade Mayes, had lived in Camak most of her life. She was a homemaker, a member of Camak United Methodist Church, and had been employed by Garland Knitting Mills. Her husband of 52 years, Carlton Eugene Bell, preceded her in death. Survivors: Daughters: Dixie Jenkins, Milner, Ga.; Laura Stone, Phenix City, Al. Son: Gene Bell, New Orleans, La. Sisters: Bertie Ferguson, and Lillian Dean Grandchildren: Jamey Jenkins, Jon Jenkins, Jenny Polk, Rev. Kevin Stone, Kristi Moore, Ryan Bell, and Kathleen Bell 11 Great- grandchildren
