Thomson, GA – Mr. Andrew Eugene Bolander, 63, of Leslie Street, entered into rest April 26, 2020 in University Hospital Augusta.

Andrew was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma to the late Burley Andrew Bolander and Helen June Reed Bolander.  He lived in Thomson for many years.  Mr. Bolander was a construction worker with cooper construction. Mr. Bolander was raised part of the Cherokee Indian Tribe and proud of his Cherokee heritage.  Andrew enjoyed horseback riding, the outdoors and camping.  Mr. Bolander was preceeded in death by a son, Troy Eugene Bolander and brother Joe Anthony Bolander.

Survivors include his three sisters, Charlotte Gross (Pete), Barbara Abbott (Mike), and Tama Gay; nieces, Amity Gay and Hope Gunter (Darrell); nephews, Chris Abbott (Angela) and Michael Reed (Jennifer); special son Michael McGrotha, and a host of other family members.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Flowers may be brought to the announced service.  The family ask that everyone plant a tree of their choice in the location of their choice in honor of Andrews life.
