Alton Ware Thompson Warrenton, GA. - Mr. Alton Ware Thompson, 77, of Little Brier Creek Church Road, entered into rest, November 15, 2012 in Augusta, GA. Mr. Thompson was the husband of the late Barbara Yvonne Thompson. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2012, from the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating. Mr. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Warren County. He was the retired co-owner and operator of Thompson Brother's Dairy. Mr. Thompson was a member of Little Brier Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Stegall and husband, John of Jacksonville, Fl.; son, Tommy Thompson of Warrenton, GA and granddaughter, Ashley Christine Stegall, Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson is in charge of arrangements.
