Allen D. Kane

Thomson, Georgia - Mr. Allen Delano Kane, 79, entered into rest February 14, 2017.

Mr. Kane was born in Bealton, Virginia to the late Irving Kane and the late Ruby McConkie Kane. He was a long time resident of McDuffie County having moved here from Warrenton, VA. Mr. Kane was retired from Virginia Power as a Forester. He was also a Dog Trainer and a member of Thomson Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kane was predeceased by a son, Henry Davis Williams; a daughter, Mary Frances Ayash; and a sister, Beatrice Kane. Survivors include his beloved wife, Gladys Jackson Kane; son, Al Kane (CeCe); daughters, Connie Martin (Steve) of Illinois and Sandy Ramey (Frankie) of Warrenton, VA; sisters, Hazel Settle and Betty Messick of VA; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock a.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hank Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
