Thomson, GA - Mrs. Alice M. Aldred, 89, entered into rest September 9, 2016.

Mrs. Aldred was a native of McDuffie County, GA and the daughter of the late Charles Meadows and the late Nomie Lee Young Meadows. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Anne Haire of Warrenton, GA, Dale Ellis of Gibson, GA, Jane Bazal and Pat McCorkle both of Thomson, GA; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Monday, September 12th in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Brother Joe Cash officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
