Alex Franklin Morey Thomson, GA- Mr. Alex Franklin Morey, 53, entered into rest August 24, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2014 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Cliff Langham, David Tankersley, Joey Key, Ronnie Langham, Josh Morey, Ricky Kinney, Ted Jones, Timmy Usry. Mr. Morey was the son of the late Robert Cranford Morey and the late Vera Geneva Kitchings. He was a 1978 graduate of Briarwood Academy and lived most of his life in Thomson, GA. Mr. Morey retired from Digital Dimensions. He was also a member of Grace Bible Church, Thomson. Survivors include his daughter, Courtney M. Jackson and husband, David of Martinez, GA ; brothers, Maurice Morey of McCormick, SC, Gary Morey of Grovetown, GA, Clyde Morey of Thomson, GA, Michael Morey of Birmingham, AL, Joel Morey of Thomson and Eric Morey of McDonough, GA. It is the family's request that memorials be made to Donate Life. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
