Aiko S. Goss, 82, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2022.

Aiko was born in Japan on February 14, 1939 and was one of 7 children. She grew up in Kawasaki, Japan before moving to the United States in 1963. She moved to Warren County, Georgia in 1996.  She was a people person, enjoyed meeting and talking with people and absolultely loved living in America. Aiko was an artist at heart and could be found drawing, crocheting, or sewing. She enjoyed panning for gold throughout the Southeast and working on her lifelong hobby of completing jigsaw puzzles. Her upbeat demeanor will be missed, but her loved ones find solace knowing she is in the arms of her heavenly father.

Aiko was preceded in death by her husband, William McNeil Goss, III; her parents, Wakaharu & Hisa Shibuya; Her survivors include her partner of over 40 years, James Duke; an adult son and daughter; a grandson and granddaughter; and an extended family that includes 6 adult children (1 who preceded her death), 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
