Agnes Covington Dowda

Agnes Dowda Thomson, Georgia - Mrs. Agnes Covington Dowda, 83 of Gilpin Rd. entered into rest December 20, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Dowda was a native of Ballground, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Gordon Covington and the late Alice Starnes Covington. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Dowda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Dowda. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy D. Hasley, Thomson, Ga.; son, William Joseph Dowda, Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Margaret Joiner, Robert Dowda, Barbara Dowda, Thomas Dowda; two great-grandchildren and a very close friend, Orion Sebastian.
