William P. Johnson
Harlem, GA. - Mr. William Pearl Johnson, 76, entered into rest February 14, 2018.
Mr. Johnson was born in Washington, Georgia, the son of the late Oscar Dean Johnson and the late Frankie Morris Johnson. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War, was a longtime resident of Harlem, GA and a member of Silver Run Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson had been employed by Uniroyal and the Graniteville Company as a security guard. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Janice Cosby Johnson; daughter, Cynthia Wideman (David) of Washington, GA; sons, Bill Johnson (Anna Marie) of Washington, GA and Joey Johnson (Courtaney Rae) of Harlem, GA; sisters, Sara Staley of Camden, SC and Frankye Dean Crawford of Appling, GA; and grandchildren, Alan Hardy, Maddison Johnson, Leanna Bjorklund, Matthew Johnson, Natalie Johnson, and Skylar Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 2 o’clock p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Henley officiating. Interment will follow in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
