Mrs. Mary Marzee Jackson Peeler, 90, wife of the late E. Frank Peeler of McCormick Hwy., Lincolnton, Ga. entered into rest on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Peeler, daughter of the late James and Harriet Sanders Jackson, was born in Oglethorpe County, Georgia on April 30, 1928. She married the late Frank Peeler on November 20, 1947 and has lived in Lincoln County since. After over 35 years of service, she retired from Milliken McCormick Mill. She was a very dedicated member of Double Branches Baptist Church where she served on the hostess committee and assisted with Vacation Bible School. Her interests included tending to her vegetable garden, flowers and keeping the grounds of her property in immaculate condition.
She is survived by her son James Peeler and wife, Patsy of Panama City Beach, Florida; daughter Judy Peeler of Evans, Ga.; grandson Patrick Peeler and wife, Tina of Buford, Ga. and great- grandsons, Blake Peeler, Brooks Peeler and Brody Peeler; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 2pm at Double Branches Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1pm until the hour of the service in the fellowship hall.
