Linda Paulette (Dillashaw) Scott

Linda Paulette Dillashaw Scott, 74, of Greenwood, South Carolina, passed away at her home on November 13, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Claude Michael Dillashaw and the late Frances Rogers Dillashaw, both of McCormick, South Carolina.  For the past 25 years, Linda was the co-operator of Winn’s Grocery in Edgefield, South Carolina.  She was of the Baptist faith and a lifelong resident of the McCormick area having moved to Greenwood about 2 years ago.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Wood, her brother, Joe Dillashaw and three sisters, Gloria Shirley, Faye Smalley and Frances Deale and her companion of 25 years, Walter Winn. 

Ms. Scott is survived by her four daughters, Susan Hinson(Dave), Mohawk, TN, Karen Bonds, Greenwood, SC, Kimberly Shirley, Milwaukee, WI, and Lisa Leopard, Ninety Six, SC, her brother Jerry Dillashaw(Donna) Greenwood, SC, her sister, Kathy Shirley (Ray), Hodges, SC,   her six grandchildren, Jennifer Creswell(Jeremy), Jason Bonds(Heather), Chris Bonds, Stephen Bonds, Nathan Bonds(Lauren) Xander Leopard and her nine great grandchildren.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 pm, Friday, November 16, 2018, at Overbrook Cemetery in McCormick, SC with a visitation at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 12 noon.  Pallbearers are Jason Bonds, Chris Bonds, Nathan Bonds , Ray Shirley, Michael Shirley and Brian Shirley.
