Jeanette M. Herrington
Thomson, GA. - Mrs. Jeanette Michelle Herrington, 43, of Wrens Highway, entered into rest March 4, 2018 at University Hospital Augusta.
Mrs. Herrington was born in Lampasas, Texas to the late William R. Smith and the late Debra Woodside Smith. She lived in Louisville and Augusta, Georgia before moving to Thomson over 20 years ago. She was employed as a referral coordinator at Family Care Group. Mrs. Herrington loved taking short trips to Jekyll Island with her husband, Sam. In addition to her four children, Mrs. Herrington was very proud of her grandchild, Beckham. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Thomson, Georgia.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 27 years, John Henry “Sam” Herrington; sons, Dalton Herrington (Brittney Beedle) and Trevor Herrington of Thomson; daughters, Rebecca H. Maynard (Tanner) and Taylor Herrington all of Thomson; grandson, Beckham Herrington of Thomson; and step-sisters, Janelle Alexander and Becky Pauley of Florida.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Zach Washington officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Hemophilia Foundation (https://www.hemophilia.org/Bleeding-Disorders/Types-of-Bleeding-Disorders/Hemophilia-B) in honor of Jeanette Herrington and grandson, John Beckham Herrington to help raise awareness for Hemophilia.
