Mr. James T. White, 68 of Macdonald St., Tignall, Ga. entered into rest on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. White, a native of Collinsville, Alabama, had lived in Ft Pierce, Florida most of his life. During his childhood, he learned auto body repair while watching his father, an auto body repairman at the local Chevrolet dealership and there was no question as to what James would do when he became old enough to work. For many years, he operated White’s Body shop. Afterwards, he worked for Tropicana in Ft. Pierce and owned A&W Trucking Company. His interests included NASCAR, hunting and fishing. A little over 11 years ago, he and his wife, Linda moved to Elizabethtown, NC. Within a year, they decided to move to Georgia to be near their daughter, Lisa and her family, especially the grandsons.
He is survived by his wife, Linda White; daughters, Lori Adams and husband Billy of Ft. Pierce, Fl., Lisa Ketchum and husband Wayne of Lincolnton; sisters, Ann Wiebke of Vero Beach, Fl., Gay Edenfield of Ft. Pierce, Fl., Barbara Hendry of Ft. Pierce, Fl., Tina Garland of Clarksville, TN., grandchildren, Jenna Stierwalt and husband Shane, Sage Adams, Kody Ketchum, and wife Behren, Tanner Ketchum and fiancée Regan Totaro; two great- grandchildren, Sonora Stierwalt and Martin "Deuce" Stierwalt.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 12:00 pm until service time at 1:00pm in the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at White City Cemetery
