OLLIN KENNETH MCNAIR


Glascock County, GA - Mr. Ollin Kenneth McNair, age 73, entered into rest at Trinity Hospital, Augusta, Georgia on February 6, 2010. He was a life-long resident of the old home place in Glascock County where he was born and never moved.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Officiating the services will be Revs. Russell Davis and Bill Seaman. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men’s Bible Class of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Dorothy Ann Parham McNair, his parents, Jeptha Isaiah McNair and Willie Bell Huff McNair, two brothers, Johnnie Theron McNair and Alfred Dean McNair, and one sister, Vivian McNair Smith. He is survived by a brother, J. I. McNair (JoAnn) of Evans, GA, two sisters, Clyde McNair Park of Clemson, SC, Evelyn McNair Brooks of Suwanee, GA, two sister-in-laws, Norma McNair, Dallas, TX and Jackie Stoddard, Elmire, NY, and several nieces and nephews. His very special friend and caregiver was Sam Kitchens.

He was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon and was Chairman of the Deacon body for two terms.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorials may be made to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, % Ms. Kay Langham, Treasurer, 692 MT. Beulah Church Road, Warrenton, GA 30828.

The family will receive friends in the church’s fellowship hall immediately following the service.
