Dear McAvoy family,

My prayers and thoughts go out to all of you at this time. My earliest memories are of Hoppy and Oleta and the dairy. They were such a big part of our childhood. When Daddy (Sanford Garrard) was put in the hospital for the last time, they were there. It meant so much to us, that they took the time and effort to make that long trip. They were such a sweet couple, they offered to sit with Daddy or stay the night. Then later in 2011, Mr. Marvin came to our mother''s memorial service. I had hoped to come for his funeral, but, was unable. The family is in my prayers, I am so sorry for your loss. Edie Garrard Carden
